Enter your flow cytometry instruments
CytoGenie helps you design studies and protocols and pick the most effective reagents for your laboratory experiments or clinical work. To do all this correctly, CytoGenie needs to know the set-up of the flow instrument(s) you will use. If you provide the wrong configurations, you will write mistaken protocols, pick inappropriate reagents, and misread the results of your experiments.
To enter your configure, you will need to have at hand the following information, which you can get from your laboratory administrator or facility manager:
Model names of your flow cytometry instruments
Wavelengths of their lasers
Names of the filters and detectors they each use and the order in which they use them
CytoGenie gives you different ways to enter your instrument configurations:
Modify a generic configuration
Enter a new configuration from scratch
