Make stain sets
The Stain set(s) window helps you build the most effective cocktails to use with your instrument configuration. Look over the window to see all you can do. Here you will find the heart of CytoGenie’s magic — and also enjoy the luxury of buying the right reagents on line.
Pick an instrument configuration if you have not already done so.
Reuse or modify earlier stain sets. Pick one of your earlier stain sets, or one we've provided for you, on either the Protocol or Stain set(s) windows.
Use control panel to customize your reagent pick tree. The Control panel just above the tree lets you choose which groups of reagents you want to see.
Make your picks. As you build new stains sets or modify old ones, CytoGenie will make sure that the reagents work together. Make use of the online Spectrascope, Determinant URLs, and Product URLs.
Anti-Ig 2nd step staining CytoGenie 4.0 offers special handling of these reagents.
Learn more about your stain sets. CytoGenie gives you online access to all the information you need to build the best possible stain sets.
Add information to your stain set. Name or rename your stain sets, specify your target cells, and add comments.
Favor specificity. When two color conjugates tend to overlap, tell CytoGenie which one you need to see.
Gene expression reporters. An easy way to specify them.
Add a special reagent. CytoGenie knows thousands of reagents, color conguates, premixes, and reagent kits. But, what do you do if you have one we do not yet support.
Specify dilutions & staining steps. Tell CytoGenie and all your computations will done for you.
