Learn more about your stain sets

Do you want to see how the colors you’ve picked will interact with your instrument's lasers and filters?  Activate the control panel and click Stain set functions.

A small menu will appear.  Click See fluorochrome spectra.

 
The spectrographic image will appear in its own window.  For more on how to make use of the spectrographic information, click here.

 
For more on the determinants you’ve selected, click the icons in the Det. URL column. 

CytoGenie will take you to a page like the one to the left.

For more information on specific products, click the icon in the Product URL column.

CytoGenie will take you to a page like this.  Click the item(s) you wish to view in detail.
 

You can also click to highlight any of the colors in your stain set and then click the Downward options arrow. 

An Options menu will pop up.  Click Explore cell …

 
A data window will display all the optical filters that will detect the color you highlighted.
